Understand the strict medical requirements for joining the Armed Forces.
Medical fitness is paramount. Candidates must be in robust mental and physical health to handle military training and service.
Vision Standards
Distance vision must be 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye without glasses. Laser surgery is generally not accepted for certain trades.
Common Rejections
Flat feet, knock knees, squint, and hydrocele are common grounds for rejection. Check these yourself before the rally.
Pre-Rally Advice
Get your ears cleaned for wax by a doctor. Fix minor dental cavities. Ensure you are free from any contagious diseases or skin infections.
