Ultimate Documents Checklist for the Recruitment Rally
Comprehensive checklist of affidavits, educational certificates, domicile, character, caste certificates.
The Importance of Proper Documentation
Every year, thousands of qualified candidates are turned away from the recruitment rally grounds not because they failed the physical test, but because they lacked correct documents. The document verification process is strict, and no second chances are given at the rally gate. Candidates must prepare their paperwork folder well in advance to avoid last-minute panic and disqualification.
Mandatory Document Checklist
Ensure you carry the following original documents along with at least two self-attested photocopies of each:
- Admit Card: Printed on good quality paper using a laser printer. Do not fold the barcode on the admit card.
- Educational Certificates: Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and board certificates. Ensure the names match your Aadhaar card perfectly.
- Domicile Certificate: Issued by the state authority (Tehsildar/SDM) with a photograph.
- Caste and Religion Certificate: Declaring your category, issued by the competent district authority.
- Character Certificate: Issued by the school principal and a separate one by the village head (Sarpanch) or municipal commissioner, not older than 6 months.
- Affidavit: A non-judicial stamp paper affidavit as per the official recruitment format, duly signed by a notary.
- Unmarried Certificate: Required for candidates under 21 years, signed by the village authority.
Discrepancies and Rectification
Check all your documents for name spellings, date of birth, and father's name. If there are minor differences between your school certificate and Aadhaar card, you must get an official affidavit explaining the discrepancy.
